Song of the Drowned

A stinking swamp, overgrown reeds, a great rotting log, an abandoned speedboat and a great black aged well. There in the heart of this swampland stands Muckmire, a grand town of 500 or so mice and frogs. An ancient land once home to an ancient god that has supposedly left these black waters.

Then came the 'Drowned', frog cultist who have taken up deep within the ancient blackened well. Now mice are vanishing from fishing vessels, the fish eggs Muckmire depends on grow weakly and are being stolen by these 'Drowned' cultist, and strange shapes can be seen in the blackwater.

The skies have become bleak and the spirits of the mice and frogs sorrowful. For a song has begun to play across the swampland, a song that has not been heard of since the days of the drowned god. . .

Song of the Drowned is an adventure site for the Mausritter rpg!

-As a short one shot!

-As a faction with the Drowned God hinted at being a 'final boss'!

-As part of the Adventures Continue game jam hexcrawl

• Song of the Drowned takes place on hex 13 or hex 9! Either works!

-As an addition to The Estate adventure!

• Replace the adventure site, Song of the Frogacle with the adventure site, Song of the Drowned
• Additional faction, Grod the Glutton wants to rule the waters of The Estate!
• Grod the Glutton has crowned himself, 'King of the Rapids', the crown is the missing crown of Queen Madriga!
• Ansel, prince of Brambletown has been recruited into the Drowned Cult!
• Additional settlement on hex 15, does not require the detachment of the Song of the Frogacle
